Well that’s a first. About two thirds through my fourth lesson of the day, things started beeping and the classroom started shaking.
It was probably the second most powerful quake I’ve felt, and it was enough to shake the dust off the light fittings and give everyone a good scare.
Shortly afterwards we evacuated the building, since it is under maintenance to strengthen it against quakes… ironically.
No one was injured and all we lost were a few hours of class, so very thankful for that.
