September 24th is Heritage (aka Braai) day in South Africa, but we had the 23rd off, so we celebrated with a Japanese BBQ.

Note the rice, pickles and miso soup. The meat is lamb, which you never see, but was tasty and a little cheaper too.

Now all I need is my Windhoek and boerewors.
