Claustrophobia! Available June 1st!

Claustrophobia!, the game of gnomish insanity, is done, and on June 1st it will go live on Drive Thru RPG.

I couldn’t be more excited (or nervous). Donovan did some amazing work on the layout, art and design, and you’ll finally get to see that, along with added content about the world of garden gnomes and more. We’ve worked hard to polish the game and I’m sure fans old and new will be really pleased with what they see.

You can keep up to date with all things gnome on our Facebook page. We would certainly appreciate a like if we can get it too.

Prezzies for Players

A few weeks ago I released the Player Play Test Packet for Claustrophobia on DriveThruRPG. It’s a great free little gift you can pass on to players when you’re running a game of Claustrophobia.

Of most interest are the four pregenerated characters, as previewed a few weeks ago. You’ll also get a questionnaire to help with the play test, as we approach the middle of 2014 and start putting the final version of the game together.

When Gnomes Attack

I’m busy putting a Claustrophobia play test packet together, so I decided to draw some garden gnomes for the pregens. Here’s a sneak peak of the first two characters…

Gretta Come n Getta is the first up. A feisty gnome with who’s ready to face any challenge that comes her way.

Then we have Jovial Nick, the festive gnome. Is he a gnome or a Christmas ornament? Who knows?

Claustrophobia! – Combat Revisited

Claustrophobia! is a light role-playing game about gnomes on a suicidal mission to the Earth’s Core. Today I’m offering you a re-worked combat system. It’s lighter than the previous version (which was already pretty light), but this one has the benefit of actual play testing. Please have a look and let me know what you think.

A Garden Gnome ready for battle. You can tell it’s not a dwarf by the shoes, apparently.

Concept Art – Claustrophobia!

Today I thought I’d share some of the concept art I’ve done for Claustrophobia! so far. Its been loads of fun getting out the pencils and brushes for this project, mucking about with watercolours and ink again. When I wrote Claustrophobia! I only had 24 hours for the creation process, so the concept art lets me explore the world in more detail. I’m excited to see where it will lead. Continue reading Concept Art – Claustrophobia!
